Jeff Evans

Jeff has over 15 years of experience as an investor, operator, and entrepreneur. As President of Volta Global, Jeff is responsible for strategy and execution of the firm's activities globally, overseeing all investment, financing, and operations activities.

Jeff also serves as President of the 1Box Group, and was instrumental in the creation of the strategy and growth of Volta Global's European self-storage platform from a small, two-site portfolio in 2019 to a Pan-European platform with over one million net rentable square feet and 40+ employees in just three years.

Prior to Volta Global, he closely worked with Marko managing several hundred million dollars of investments in both public and private markets. Jeff spent the early part of his career on Wall Street covering global emerging markets and technology, first in investment banking, and then as the lead investment analyst for a long/short hedge fund that grew from $20 million to over $1 billion in assets in three years.

In addition to his investment experience, Jeff was a co-founder and executive officer of a venture-backed educational technology company, where he oversaw the company's early growth to a $35 million business with customers in over 100 countries, before exiting the business in 2011.

Jeff holds an MBA from Yale University and an undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Syntheon, Sentinel Systems, SimpleStorage Mexico, 1Box Netherlands, and 1Box France.

Outside of work, Jeff is an avid reader, tennis player, and hiker, and loves spending time with his wife and their three young kids.
