US Self-Storage

Our US self-storage activities began in 2015 with a value-add strategy throughout the Southeast. Since then we have acquired, developed, or converted over 1 million rentable square feet of self-storage across the South/Southeast, with projects ranging from Arizona to Florida and up the East Coast. We focus on highly fragmented markets benefitting from strong growth and demographic tailwinds.

US Multifamily

Our ground up development strategy in multifamily focuses on emerging growth markets in the Southeast US where we can identify irreplaceable locations and deliver Class A modern residential units at competitive rents.

Europe Self-Storage

Through our 1Box Self Storage brand, Volta Global was early in identifying and capitalizing on secular growth in the European self-storage industry, building a Pan-European platform that leverages the Volta expertise in self-storage from the US. To date the platform has acquired or developed over 1,000,000 rentable square feet across the Netherlands and France, and has become one of the largest independent operators in the EU.

Hospitality

Volta has taken a value-add approach to the hospitality sector in both the US and Europe, targeting outdated or mismanaged assets in growing leisure destination markets. From Euro Disney, to New York City, to Universal Studios Orlando, we have an established track record of acquiring, improving, and managing turnaround assets in irreplaceable locations that become best in class properties in their respective markets.

Direct Lending

We have provided bridge, mezzanine, and creative debt financings to developers of world class residential and commercial projects in the US and abroad. Our lending structures are uniquely suited to the borrower and project, and our ability to think outside of the box differentiates us from other direct lenders on complex development projects.
