OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPONSORS

We are actively seeking up and coming independent real estate sponsors to join the first cohort of partners in a new “VG Accelerate” program.

A small group of talented and ambitious sponsors will receive a variety of tools and capital needed to launch or dramatically accelerate the growth of their business.

We kickstart real estate entrepreneurs to pursue more and better deals, close deals quicker, and leverage the in-house expertise of a global investment firm with a decade of experience covering the full spectrum of multiple real estate asset classes.

SPONSOR BENEFITS

Receive an upfront initial capital investment from Volta that can be used for early operating expenses and pursuit costs that would otherwise come out of sponsor pockets (amount TBD based on sponsorship and market focus)

Draw on Volta capital for earnest money deposits to secure deals, perform due diligence studies and surveys and for eventual GP / Co-GP equity commitments

Utilize resources of the Volta Investment and Development teams, including:

○ Acquisition sourcing database and tools,

○ Underwriting assistance as it comes to budgeting, pro-forma, supply / demand

analysis,

○ Consultation with Volta development professionals on optimal site planning and

to vet out technical challenges for development / expansion opportunities,

○ Leverage Volta’s high-quality supplier relationships and buying power to reduce

procurement costs across development and expansion projects,

○ Utilize Volta past experience in capital markets - preparing presentations for debt

and equity, structuring optimal deals for GPs, and get introduced to preferred

Volta relationships for securing debt financing

Potential for pre-agreed “promote crystallization” arrangements that will allow sponsors

to realize deal related fee compensation in the form of higher equity ownership % in

deals that sponsor and Volta agree on holding for the long-term.
